Program Optimisation
Ongoing optimisation of your loyalty or incentive program — mechanics, tiers, rewards, communications, data and partner behaviour. Ensure your new or existing program continues to grow revenue, margin and engagement. If not, develop the change strategy and roadmap to get there.
Loyalty and incentive programs need ongoing tuning to stay effective.
I analyse partner behaviour, product mix, margin impact, engagement patterns and reward costs to identify what’s working and what isn’t.
Optimisation may involve adjusting mechanics, refining tiers, reshaping rewards, improving communications or tightening governance. Performance management ensures commercial viability — monitoring reward costs, margin impact, partner behaviour and ROI.
The goal is simple: keep your program relevant, efficient and commercially strong. Optimisation ensures your program continues to drive measurable increases in engagement, behaviour and revenue long after launch.

PPG engaged me to transition out of Qantas Business Rewards, which was costly, offered minimal data access and allowed only one annual communication to members. I designed two new trade incentive programs — one for professional painters and one for paint store owners — built entirely around PPG’s own data and behaviour‑change goals.
By tying earning to PPG brands rather than Qantas points, activation and redemption rates increased more than seven‑fold. The new programs delivered known ROI, predictable liability and ringfenced revenue growth directly attributable to the incentive structure, something impossible under QBR’s limited control and visibility.
“Every other ‘expert’ or company arrived with a platform to sell. Mark arrived with questions, then told us to fix our partner data before we spent a cent on software or rewards.”
